Job Summary :
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness, with a focus on Level 3 or 4 NICU patients. Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. The position requires strong communication and collaboration skills with patients, providers, and team members.

Responsibilities :
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the NICU (Level 3 or 4).
- Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Float between units based on unit needs.
- Standby on-call when not needed on the unit.
- Document patient care and related duties appropriately.
- Float to other units and facilities as needed.
Required Skills & Certifications :
Active Registered Nurse license in the state of working.Level 3 or 4 NICU experience.Clinical Assessment, Medication Administration, and Treatment Planning skills.Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Driver's license, car insurance, and automobile for field work.Preferred Skills & Certifications :
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.Special Considerations :
Must have a vehicle for this assignment.Will float between units based on unit needs.On-call standby is required when not needed on the unit.Will float to other units and facilities as needed.Must be comfortable working with variable and rotating weekends.Scheduling :
Generally, shifts rotate between days / nights per pay period or schedule period (every 2-4 weeks).Manager ensures appropriate time between night and day shifts when rotating.48-hour shifts are not approved.Expected nurse to patient ratio is 1 : 3.
