Manager, Product Engineering, Aerospace and Defense

This position will provide day to day leadership and focus on the execution of GaN-SiC semiconductor component projects for Aerospace and Defense markets, as well as for Industrial, Scientific, and Medical markets. The Product Engineering Manager will lead a team of product and test engineers responsible for New Product Introduction, which includes manufacturability assessment (Cpk), qualification, initial product sampling, production release, yield optimization, and customer engagement on quality initiatives. The position is on-site in Morrisville, NC (Research Triangle Park area).

Key responsibilities :

• Hands-on leadership of the Product and Test engineering team in support of all aspects of new product releases.
• Set timelines, budgets, and resources allocation to ensure timely execution of milestones.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to team members and peers.
• Define test strategy for different product lines.
• Drive continuous process improvements and engineering excellence.
• Interface and collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Design, Foundry, Program Management, Reliability, Hardware, Marketing, Sales and Operations) to ensure yield, test coverage and timeline goals are met for each product.
• Support Operation Engineering team test program improvement and test cost reduction initiatives.
