The role
Our Leisure Club Supervisors are responsible for providing a successful Health & Fitness offering to members and guests, promoting and supporting behavioural change in achieving fitness goals and the benefits of healthy living. The role reports directly to the Leisure Club Manager and is part of a team based from our attractive hotel in Taunton (TA1 2UA).
Leisure Club Supervisor responsibilities include :
- Supporting the Leisure Club Manager in the delivery of a Group Exercise programme suitable for the Clubs demographic and requirements that meet the member’s needs and maintains brand standards.
- Support the Leisure Club Manager in leading, motivating and developing our leisure club colleagues to support with continuing service excellence and demonstration of our company values and culture.
- Support the Leisure Club Manager with the organising of legal training requirements for Leisure Assistants to maintain / gain First Aid and Pool Emergency Responder qualifications.
- Undertake cash handling duties including afternoon / evening cashing up reports
- Ensure all Health and Safety requirements are being met
- Finding innovative ways to drive New Member Sales and Membership Headcount.

This role is perfect for someone who is looking to demonstrate their skills and develop their career - ideally someone who already has supervisory or managerial experience in the leisure / fitness / spa wellness industry.
The ideal candidate would have one or more of the following qualifications :
Pool Water Safety Qualification of Pool ResponderFirst Aid at Work QualificationCIMSPA fitness professional qualification of Level 2 or abovePool Plant Operators Qualification at Level 3Health & Fitness / Leisure Industry Qualification of Level 3 or aboveNext steps
