Our client, a world leader in semiconductors, is looking for a Manufacturing - Buyer / Planner based out of Milpitas, CA.

Job Duration : Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)

Pay Rate : $48.07 / hr - $55.29 / hr DOE

Job Responsibilities :

• Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of materials through the production cycle to determine required materials purchases.
• Obtains materials using engineering and production schedules to maintain inventory at planned levels (i.e., just in time purchases).
• Resolves discrepancies.
• Ensures material standards are met and non-conformances or variances are approved and / or minimized.
• Monitors cost and schedule of production orders against build plan.
