Our client, a world leader in semiconductors, is looking for a Manufacturing - Buyer/Planner based out of Milpitas, CA.

Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)

Pay Rate: $48.07/hr - $55.29/hr DOE

Job Responsibilities:

• Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of materials through the production cycle to determine required materials purchases.
• Obtains materials using engineering and production schedules to maintain inventory at planned levels (i.e., just in time purchases).
• Resolves discrepancies.
• Ensures material standards are met and non-conformances or variances are approved and/or minimized.
• Monitors cost and schedule of production orders against build plan.
