Job Summary

Monitor patients, offer bedside and intra-operative cortical stimulation / brain mapping, and perform advanced imaging including but not limited to 3T brain MRI, PET scan, and Wada testing. Treatment options performed include but are not limited to surgical resection, laser ablation (LITT), bedside sEEG-guided radiofrequency (RF) ablation, RNS, DBS, and VNS.

This is an academic position affiliated with the University of Colorado School of Medicine, with teaching responsibilities.

Essential Functions :

• Diagnose complex medical problems by referring to a patient's history, examining them, and conducting neurological tests. (30%)
• Order neurological tests and interpreting the results of neuroimaging studies. (30%)
• Monitor the behavioral and cognitive side effects of treatment and medication. (30%)
• Participate in neuroscience research activities. (10%)
