Front End Web Developer Job at San Manuel Band of Mission Indians in Highland

This role is responsible for translating UI / UX design wireframes into responsive, interactive, and visually appealing web interfaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern web technologies, performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility, and will collaborate closely with designers, back-end developers, and content strategists to deliver seamless user experiences.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develops responsive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular).

2. Optimizes web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility.

3. Implements SEO best practices in front-end development to support digital marketing goals.

4. Maintains and updates existing websites (Drupal) and applications to improve performance and usability.

5. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Design, or related field required.
• Minimum 2 (two) years of front-end web development experience required.
• Related, relevant, and / or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above.
