Overview
Aria University is seeking a strategic and visionary leader to serve as its Vice President of Advancement (VP). As a member of the President's Cabinet, the VP plays an integral role in the Aria University’s operations, working closely with the University’s senior leadership team and the President on all fundraising matters. The VP is also responsible for developing and overseeing the administration, programs, and strategic planning of the new Division of Advancement. This Division will advance the University's mission by expanding awareness and support. The Vice President will foster a dynamic culture that promotes brand visibility, philanthropy, and strategic engagement with both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to advance the University's mission, including capital campaigns, annual giving, major gifts, and planned giving.
Build and maintain relationships with donors, alumni, and community partners, ensuring consistent communication and donor stewardship.
Collaborate with the President, executive leadership, and the Advancement team to align fundraising initiatives with the University's strategic priorities and goals.
Oversee the administration, programs, and strategic planning of the new Division of Advancement, including brand visibility and philanthropy efforts.
Serve as a liaison to the President, board, and cabinet, providing guidance and expertise on fundraising matters and advancing the University's mission.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution; a graduate degree or equivalent credential is preferred.
Demonstrated expertise in fundraising at all levels, particularly principal gifts, and experience building and developing advance operations.
Experience advising a president, board, and cabinet will provide a distinct advantage.
Strong communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills; ability to work collaboratively within a start‑up culture that celebrates imagination and entrepreneurship.

Benefits
Competitive salary range : $200,000 – $220,000, with full commensurate with qualifications and related experience. Relocation allowance available.
