Summary :
The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for all employees at Rosen Hotels & Resorts. This role involves managing backend data related to hours worked, pay periods, wages, and various types of leave. The Payroll Coordinator works closely with the HR and accounting departments to maintain accurate payroll records and compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities :
- Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information and coordinating with the HR department.
- Ensure timely and accurate distribution of hourly and salary payments to associates.
- Maintain accurate records of all payments made to employees.
- Collaborate with the HR and accounting departments to ensure correct information is used for payroll processing.
- Prepare reports summarizing earnings, tax deductions, leave, compassionate leave, and non-taxable wages.
- File relevant payroll reports and documents as required.
- Verify employee payroll records and consult with departments to address any discrepancies.
- Assist with the calculation of bonuses and other salary-based compensation on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis.
- Maintain payroll operations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience / Qualifications :
Strong understanding of payroll processes and procedures.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Must be able to legally work in the USA.Education and Certification(s) / License(s) :
