Bookkeeper
Company Confidential, located in Greater Minneapolis, is seeking an experienced and self-motivated bookkeeper to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this position is an integral part of our small yet mighty, hard-working office administrative team.
This people-facing role combines accounting, reconciliation, payroll, and a variety of administrative duties perfect for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a fast-paced office environment.

Essential Job Duties
Accounting Responsibilities :
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organizationPerform general accounting duties related to AP, AR, and cash managementPerform general ledger accounting and reconciliationPrepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll, invoices, and other accounting documentsAdminister payroll, commissions, and benefits including support of 1099 and W2'sSupport business projects from an accounting and control perspectiveCollaboration with external auditorsOperations and Administrative Support :
Answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling correspondenceMaintain office supplies inventory and place orders as neededHelp arrange small orders and sample shipmentsOversee office maintenance and ensure a clean and organized work environmentCoordinate and manage administrative functions, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff membersEducation and Qualifications :
Associate's degree or higher in accounting, finance, business administration, or closely related field is preferred2-3 years of full-cycle bookkeeping, transactional accounting, including accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP), in a similar role is requiredStrong knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to apply them effectivelyPayroll processing experienceProficient in general ledger accountingExperience in financial report writing and analysisExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMS Office proficiency (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and intermediate Excel)Familiar with and ability to learn ERP accounting softwareProficiency in the use of Mac computers is preferredCertifications (CB, CPB, CPP, etc.) are always a plusOur Total Rewards :
