Must-Have : Experience with equipment and working knowledge of EPIC

Description :

The role involves providing respiratory therapy in various inpatient settings including ICU, medical, surgical, and emergency departments.

Most patients are adults, with minimal pediatrics and neonates.

Job duties include performing ABGs and EKGs.

The therapist will assist with intubation procedures and will work with hospitalists or intensivists who are on-call during the night shifts.

Each shift will have a manager and a lead therapist available for support.

Scheduling offers flexibility with self-scheduling options, requiring work on weekends every third weekend and holidays as needed.

A response time for call or standby call is 30 minutes, with weekend call required at least once every six weeks.

No specific dress code is required.

Equipment used includes various brands of ventilators, BiPap, CPAP, and high-flow devices.

Orientation will occur over a minimum of three shifts.
