Position Description

Under the supervision of the CFO, the Senior Director of Finance and Accounting will lead and manage the finance and accounting departments, including teams responsible for financial reporting, planning, analysis and compliance. This position will develop and implement Caminar’s financial strategies in alignment with corporate goals and objectives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Support and mentor the FP&A, accounting, and billing teams with guidance and mentorship
• Participate in strategic business decision making as a member of the management team
• Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory requirements
• Ensure timely filing of all financial statements, reports, and tax filings with internal and external stakeholders
• Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
• Review and approve monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Review and approve the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with company objectives
• Provide detailed financial analysis and recommendations to the senior leadership team to drive decision-making and improve business performance
• Monitor cash flow, investments, and other key financial activities to ensure the organization remains financially stable
• Collaborate with legal, tax, and business development teams to evaluate potential financial risks and opportunities in corporate transactions
• Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process
• Work closely with IT teams to ensure the finance and accounting departments are leveraging the best financial software and technology
• Other requests as needed
