Sodexo Senior Living is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 to join our food service team at Deerfield, a large upscale Life Care Community located in Asheville, North Carolina. Deerfield offers several exciting dining venues including a bistro, a cafe, and dining room service. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, hospitality and communication skills. Typical schedule is 10 : 30 am - 7 : 30 pm with some weekend coverage.

What You'll Do

• Oversee mainly front of house operations of the bistro, cafe and dining rooms
• Successfully coordinate all required tasks through subordinate managers, supervisors and frontline staff
• Deliver high quality food services for our resident dining operations
• Achieve company and client financial targets and goals
• Develop and maintain client and customer relationships
• Ensure HACCP, regulatory and standards compliance
• Have daily interaction with residents, their families and clinical team to ensure resident satisfaction
• Create a positive environment
• Ensure Sodexo standards are met

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum Management Experience - 2 years. Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
