Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading the quality strategy, processes, and systems to ensure all products meet or exceed customer and regulatory requirements. This hands-on management position will oversee all quality operations for the UTC and Eulex products, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards and driving continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing processes. This position will lead a team of quality professionals and collaborate cross-functionally to foster a culture of quality and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality System Oversight, Compliance & Documentation : Develop, implement, and maintain the company's quality assurance programs, policies and Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001, Mil-Std-790, and other relevant certifications and regulatory standards specific to electronics manufacturing.
- Establish, document, and enforce quality procedures, metrics, and testing protocols for raw materials, in-process components, and finished capacitors
- Oversee testing processes, including IR, Capacitance, DWV, and DPA, to guarantee capacitor reliability and performance
- Maintain quality processes and procedures, including Document and Revision Control, Engineering Change Process and Non-Conforming Material Review
- Analyze production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective and preventive actions using Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and supplier teams to resolve quality issues and ensure equipment is maintained and calibrated
- Manage customer complaints, feedback, and quality-related inquiries, acting as the primary point of contact for quality matters and providing corrective action reports as needed
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including manuals, SOPs, test plans, defect tracking, and regulatory reports
- Ensure the facility meets regulatory requirements (ISO, FAR, CMMC, etc.), maintaining accurate documentation of quality procedures, policies, and audit results
- Ensure compliance with FAR clauses relevant to product and service quality, procurement standards, and contract obligations for government contracts
- Identify potential risks in processes and implement mitigation strategies, including cybersecurity risks related to CMMC
Audits & Certifications
Conduct regular internal and external audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance and address non-conformities promptlyLead internal audits and support site readiness for external ISO, customer, and regulatory auditsEnsure corrective actions are implemented and verified for effectiveness, driving continuous improvementLeadership & Team Development

Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Experience and Knowledge :
Minimum of 5 years in quality management, preferably in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environmentExperience managing a Quality team is requiredStrong knowledge of ISO-9001 / AS9100 and quality management systemsKnowledge of MIL-STD-790 is preferred but not requiredProficiency in quality methodologies, data analysis, inspection tools, and statistical process controlExcellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionallyExperience in root cause analysis, corrective / preventive actions, and continuous improvementUnderstanding of manufacturing processes and properties of passive electrical components is beneficialProficient in Microsoft Office toolsAbility to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with production teamsStrong communication skills with customers and suppliersStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in data analysis and reporting toolsAbility to lead and drive change in a cross-functional environmentKnowledge of regulatory standards applicable to the industryExperience in Aerospace and Defense is desirableCertifications
ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or equivalent preferredLean Six Sigma certification is a plusPhysical Requirements
