About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular & Thoracic Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Missouri starting Dec 1, 2025. This 78-day contract features 12-hour day shifts (0600-1830), with responsibilities split between the OR and a consult clinic. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH) and have a strong record of case logs, particularly for vein harvests under 60 minutes.

Responsibilities and Duties
Assist in the operating room with cases such as CABG, aortic dissection, Impella placement / removal, and ECMO cannulationsPerform endoscopic vein harvesting (targeting under 60 minutes per harvest); radial harvest experience preferred but not requiredSupport a consult clinic (4-9 patients per day), primarily assisting rather than direct patient careManage pre- and post-operative care for surgical patientsServe as solo provider on weekends with attending backupComplete all documentation and EMR duties (Epic)No LVAD or transplant casesAdditional Information
Must hold a current Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC)Missouri license requiredEVH proficiency and strong case logs are critical for considerationAssignment is due to provider retirement; start date is flexible within DecemberBenefits
