About the Role

The Company is seeking a Director of IT to lead and oversee all aspects of its information technology operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for IT strategy, managing vendor relationships, and addressing technical challenges. Key responsibilities include overseeing IT operations, managing a third-party IT provider, supporting a global user base, and administering core IT systems. The role also involves leading the IT Helpdesk function, collaborating on security and infrastructure, and championing an excellent employee IT experience.

Candidates for the Director of IT position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in IT operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a strong operational mindset, be adept at managing a user base across different time zones, and possess hands-on experience with Google Workspace, MDM, and SaaS-based IT environments. A customer-first mindset, excellent communication skills, and a working knowledge of IT security and compliance principles are essential. Experience in managing IT in remote-first organizations, familiarity with ITIL or helpdesk best practices, and a background in automating IT workflows are also required.
