Travel Nursing Job Details Assignment Type : Travel Operating Room RN Location : Fort Myers, Florida (33912) Start Date : December 1, 2025 End Date : February 28, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Shift : 8-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday (6 : 30am – 3 : 00pm) Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Estimated Weekly Salary : $1890 - $1940 per week Call : Short call after shift weekly and one 12-hour call shift per month (30-minute callback time) Floating : Required; may float to sister campuses Scrubs : Provided by hospital Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience Robotic, orthopedic, and neuro surgical experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Active Florida RN license or compact state RN license BLS certification required ACLS and PALS certifications preferred Epic EMR experience preferred Degree accreditation on profile or 5 years of nursing experience required Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (radius rule) Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in a busy operating room setting Assist with surgical specialties : orthopedics, oncology, bariatrics, vascular, neuro, trauma, and robotics Participate in call rotation and respond to urgent surgical needs within 30 minutes Float to other units or sister campuses as needed Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes Contribute to a positive, inclusive unit culture Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Fort Myers, Florida!
