Ratios : Charge Nurses are expected to take a limited patient assignment if staffing requires. PCU is budgeted at a 3 : 1 with a max ratio of 4 : 1, and a full assignment for Charge is 2 : 1. PCU RNs will be at 4 : 1 before Charge goes into staffing.

First timers accepted : Yes

Weekend REQ : Yes

Certs REQ : ACLSD, BLS, (NIH Preferred)

Is on-call REQ? No

Will the clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes

Local accepted : No

Special Requirements : Telemetry, IV Start, Cardiac & Vasoactive drips, BiPAP and High Flow Oxygen required. Level I, II, III, or IV required. Vents, Charge Nurse Experience, Conscious Sedation preferred

Unit Information : Cardiac and Medical PCU - True ICU Stepdown - Heart caths, BiPap, cardiac and vasoactive drips. Levo, Dopa, Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, PCU Crisis Criteria
