Selected individual will become part of the Receiving Center Operations / Shipping team in Palmdale. Candidate will be responsible for managing the efficient movement of material, classified parts and spares from receiving into the warehouse.
Will monitor inventory stocking levels and engage other organizations to assist in maintaining company owned inventory goals and metrics.
Candidate will support the overall direction, organization and prioritization of packing and shipping operations, working closely with the Traffic Management Organization as necessary to support on time production deliveries.
Will utilize MRP (Material Resource Planning), preferably SAP and the Palmdale order location system (SFM).
May attend / chair status meetings with management. Will provide activity reports and process metrics on a monthly basis.
Must have the ability to resolve issues that may arise by engaging and interfacing with other support organizations.
Develop solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.
Must be a US Citizen
This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Candidate must have the ability to acquire a Secret Clearance, after starting this role.
A level 4 employee Typically has 9 - 15 years of professional experience.
