About Beacon Kalamazoo
Beacon Kalamazoo provides 24 / 7 emergency care and a Level II Trauma Center. We deliver care for serious life-threatening injuries / illnesses, and your everyday health needs, including labor and delivery. We offer specialty care for heart / vascular disease, lung and sleep disorders, mental health conditions, and women’s health. We offer a wide range of outpatient services, including diagnostic imaging, lab tests, respiratory therapy and rehabilitation therapy services.
What You’ll Do
As a Licensed Master Plumber, you will report to the Manager of Facilities Services. You’ll perform a variety of preventive maintenance duties, repairs, alterations, and modifications of buildings, equipment, and systems in skilled trade as a Master Plumber. The Licensed Master Plumber will respond to and follow through on corrective maintenance of serious problems or conditions as reported by Facility Engineers or as instructed by supervision. You will work independently as assigned.
Licensed Master Plumber Job Responsibilities
What You Bring
As a Licensed Master Plumber, you will bring the knowledge of complex commercial and institutional maintenance and repair procedures related to piping / plumbing systems including schedule 40 pipe, schedule 80 pipe, PVC, ABS, galvanized and black pipe of no less than 3", "K", "L", and "M" copper. You will have the mechanical ability to perform repairs on a variety of hospital equipment using specific hand and power tools as related to plumbing trade including items such as roto-routers, pipe cutter / threader machines, quick freeze equipment, etc.
