Overview
We are recruiting for a Senior Technology Specialist / Team Lead to plan, implement, and oversee work as a member of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Information Technology Directorate (ITD) Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) Tech Refresh project management team. Responsibilities

- Responsible for the professionalism, timeliness, and quality of all technical implementation teams
- Working as a team lead / member to implement IT equipment tech refreshes, equipment dispositions, and inventory assets for future state architecture diagrams
- Supporting Project Manager (PM) with the creation of a full-scale project plan and ensuring the project is delivered on-time, within scope and budget. Ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and completion of all tasks assigned under this project
- Leading the implementation team in the overall implementation and execution of the Program Management Plan and IT equipment Tech Refresh project schedule, to include managing all human, logistics, and technical / tool resources for project execution
- Leading team in the implementation of all equipment disposition requirements to include pricing and creating shipping labels and preparing, packaging, sealing, and addressing as required in accordance with DoD, DARPA instructions, Industrial Security policies and other policies and guidance provided by Defense Security Service
- Identifying, validating, and supporting DARPA ITD leadership with the procurement of IT hardware or software assets contained Government approved BOMs / Asset Database as required
- Communicating with senior client personnel to determine requirements and execute tasks. Maintaining exceptional customer relations. Provides status briefings / metrics regarding project progress, ensuring timely submission of completed reports at client specified frequency
- Leading the team to design a plan and execute providing inventory and asset management support for IT assets and existing inventory within ITD's network areas of responsibility
- Providing direction and support technical implementation teams. Schedules and assigns duties of Nakupuna personnel
- Providing support to the PM to create and ensure timely reporting of project team outcomes to clients and Nakupuna Companies Leadership
Additional Internal Corporate Duties :
Providing inputs to PM to support :Project hiring processes, ensuring this engagement is appropriately staffed to meet client expectations

Education and Experience : This position requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution as well as a minimum of 10 years of professional experience within the DoD and an Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Certification . The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree or comparative years of professional experience in project management, or a similar field.
The following are desired :
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) IT service management (ITSM) Certification.Experience in TACLANE configuration data and management functions, as well as Managing multiple TACLANE encryptors in an IP network environment.Skills / Qualifications : Must have proven leadership with management and organizational skills, self-motivated, have strong attention to detail, good oral and written communication skills. Computer competency is mandatory for this position.
Travel Requirements : Ability and willingness to travel to Government Installations up to 50% of the time. The place of performance can consist of 347 sites across 39 CONUS states plus one OCONUS state (Hawaii).
Work Location : Work is performed in a hybrid support manner at the Company Offices in Arlington VA, client site at in Arlington VA and Oakton, VA. Core work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, arriving no earlier than 6 : 30 AM and departing no later than 6 : 30 PM Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed.
