Licensed Physician/Medical Director

Lincare is currently seeking a Medical Director to support our operations in Texas on an as-needed contract basis. The Medical Director will supervise Lincare’s procedures in accordance with federal and state laws and any applicable payor requirements by performing the following tasks :
- Review of clinical data
- Review of clinical protocol
- Review of policies and procedures for compliance
Requirements :
- Must be a Medicare-enrolled physician duly licensed to practice medicine in the state of Texas
- Must maintain a policy or policies of professional liability insurance for claims resulting from professional misconduct in a minimum amount of $1,000,000 per claim and $3,000,000 in the annual aggregate
- Successful candidate must represent that he / she is not, and has never been, excluded from participation in the Medicare or Medicaid programs, or any other federal or state health insurance organization nor convicted of a health care-related criminal offense
- Ability to devote 1-5 hours per quarter to Lincare on an annual basis
