Senior Vice President Marketing

Position : Sr. Vice President, Marketing

Salary Range : $175-225K + Bonus

Work Schedule : In-person, M-F

Office Location : Phoenix, Arizona

Travel : Occassional (National & International)

The Keller Group is recruiting for a Sr. Vice President of Marketing in the Greater Phoenix area. Our client is a healthcare leader headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona but with locations throughout the US and UK.

We’re seeking a highly strategic healthcare industry expert who can lead the organization’s marketing strategy, as well as a high-performing team of subject matter experts.

This role will be responsible for working closely with executive leadership in developing and executing the marketing strategy targeting patients, providers, payors, hospital partners, and more for the brand and its subsidiaries.

SVP of Marketing Responsibilities :

Oversee and lead the marketing, sales and community relations team both locally and remotely and serve as a leader fostering collaboration, teamwork, and mentorship.

Manage day-to-day needs of employees and development of tactical and strategic skills.

• Strong understanding of all digital marketing channels and maintaining a working knowledge of digital marketing, digital advertising, social media, and analtyics to strategize with the team and support all partners.
• Partner with the different stakeholders to provide strategic marketing expertise, identifying their marketing needs, key issues, industry trends, market insights and the competitive landscape.
• Work closely with the executive leadership team to lead strategic planning and to develop an annual marketing budget with a long-term growth plan, deliverables, and KPIs.
• Develop and implement strategic community outreach programs, digital and traditional marketing strategies, robust media and PR communications plans and consistent brand messaging across the organization.
• Fostering team collaboration and guiding direct reports in a positive and uplifting manner that encourages continued professional growth + guide team with communications, strategy, delivery, performance accountability, budget, and scope management
• Proactive leader that is always thinking ahead and confident to bring new ideas forward, ability to get ahead of any problems or quickly resolve prior to escalation, etc.
• Experience leading and scaling growing teams hands-on leader that dedicates time to peers in helping them to grow professionally.
• Business savvy : Ability to step back and analyze what is working and what is not in terms of process, procedures, and exceeding partner expectations.

Identify gaps in daily operations or forecast in terms of growth to keep scaling, adhering to any industry trends, shifting due to business obstacles, etc.

SVP of Marketing Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s in Marketing, Advertising, PR, Journalism, or related field of study.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry working with patients, providers, payors and / or hospital partners.
• An extensive understanding of digital marketing, traditional marketing, community relations, sales and PR.
• Confidence and strong leadership skills as to be perceived as a trusted ally and a subject matter expert.
• Must have strong strategy, data, and analytics experience and be versed in manipulating data and uncovering strategic insights within sales and operational data.
• Strong understanding for and appreciation of content marketing and PR.
• Ability to travel mostly within US, but occasional travel (1-2x year) to UK is possible to visit peers in international offices.
• Desire to for longevity in growing internally still room to grow beyond SVP leadership responsibilities!
