Summary
The
Operations Manager provides leadership, management, and effective communication
to both customers and co-owners, while meeting operational and financial
goals. The successful person will be
able to drive operational performance at the site level, focusing on
productivity, quality, and cost metrics.
They
will do this while maintaining the receiving, warehousing, and distribution
operations with the established policies, practices and procedures during
assigned shift (M-F 7pm-3 : 30am, additional days and hours required as needed). Those same
policies and procedures need to be reviewed from a continuous improvement lens
– and the Operations Manager should champion any improvements. We value a

Responsibilities
Managing the timely and accurate processing of customer orders, including picking, packing, and shipping.Complies with federal, state and local warehousing, material handling and shipping requirements by enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.Safeguards warehouse operation and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.Oversee the organization and maintenance of outbound inventory, ensuring accuracy and availability.Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.Manages warehouse staff by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results.Ability to interact and build strong relationships with internal and external customers.Excellent organizing, prioritizing, multi-tasking, product management and problem-solving skills with a strong sense of urgency.Analytical reporting skillsAbility to effectively manage changing and sometimes spiking volumes.Ability to meet strict time frames in environments with zero tolerance for failure.Required Qualifications :
A minimum of 3-4 years distribution management experience at manager level (Inbound / Outbound)Proven track record of the ability to mentor and develop supervisors.Safety Management ExperienceInventory Control knowledge.Analytical reporting skillsKnowledge of WMS systemsKnowledge of Labor Management SystemKnowledge of 5SAbility to effectively manage changing and sometimes spiking volumesFull-time
