Senior Unix / Linux Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Technical Engineer - Unix / Linux (remote).

Key Responsibilities

Support, design, implement, and manage Linux-based systems and infrastructure

Monitor system performance, apply updates, and ensure security compliance for Unix / Linux environments

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and develop disaster recovery plans

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

7+ years of experience in Unix / Linux system administration and engineering roles

Proven experience with various Linux distributions and Unix distributions (HP-UX & IBM AIX)

Strong knowledge of Unix / Linux operating systems and automation tools

Must be a US citizen
