Project Manager (Remote - US)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex initiatives from concept through delivery within a dynamic healthcare or insurance environment. This role will manage cross-functional projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, timelines, and stakeholder expectations. You will facilitate business requirements, coordinate with technical teams, and oversee end-to-end project execution, including business readiness and user acceptance testing. The ideal candidate excels at communication, risk management, and problem-solving, while fostering collaboration among diverse teams. This position supports remote work with potential relocation to Southeast Michigan, offering a hybrid environment that balances flexibility with on-site collaboration.

Accountabilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of projects, developing and managing end-to-end plans that include business implementation, technical milestones, and readiness activities.
• Facilitate business case development, requirements gathering, and stakeholder decision-making.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT and business units, to resolve issues, mitigate risks, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Develop and manage project status reporting, including business and technical updates, dashboards, and executive communications.
• Support business readiness through training sessions, process development, and change management initiatives.
• Oversee user acceptance testing, defect tracking, and validation of project outcomes.
• Ensure smooth transition of ongoing business activities prior to project closure.
• Promote continuous improvement in project management processes and tools.
