As a law clerk, you'll work on basic cases and / or projects with general supervision and on more complex cases and / or projects with direct supervision.

Job Description

As a Legal Intern within our Trial Division, you'll work on basic cases and / or projects with general supervision and on more complex cases and / or projects with direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provides basic analysis of cases and / or projects and may make recommendations to more senior attorneys.
• Research legal precedents, defines legal and factual issues, drafts legal documents and develops conclusions and recommendations.
• Assists attorneys in preparing for hearings, depositions, mediations and trials
• Interacts with senior management as needed.
• Works as a team member on multiple group / client assignments.
• May perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Reporting Relationships : Reports to General Counsel or Trial Management.

Please Note : This internship runs from May - August. This internship will only support those that are local to our offices in PA, GA, CA and NY. Housing will not be provided.

Qualifications :

Nationwide pays on a geographic-specific salary structure and placement within the actual starting salary range for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; and other conditions of employment.

The national hourly pay range for Nationwide Internships is : $21 - $50
