Catering Operations Manager

We are looking for a Catering Manager to lead a team of kitchen and delivery drivers and make sure they deliver excellent customer service. Catering Manager responsibilities include managing catering orders, scheduling drivers and coordinating food preparation and serving during events. To be successful in this role, you should have work experience in catering or hospitality and solid organizational abilities. Ultimately, you will ensure that we run efficient catering facilities and help increase our clientele. We are a Monday to Friday operation with mostly Breakfast and Lunch deliveries. We do afternoon, evening and weekend events occasionally.

• Plan daily delivery routes for breakfast and lunch orders
• Schedule staff shifts
• Train and manage personnel
• Oversee food prep and customer service
• Report on expenses, manage payroll
• Manage stock and place orders as needed
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Skills
• Work experience as a Catering Manager, Restaurant Manager or similar role
• Hands-on experience with corporate drop off catering
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under stressful circumstances
• Certification in hospitality or culinary management is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills required. Candidates will have a minimum of 2-3 years catering experience in a high volume establishment
