Job Description :

The Staff Accountant(Practice) will report to the Senior Accountants for our corporate and practice teams.

These positions will be responsible for performing the accounting functions including month-end close, revenue recognition, financial reporting, assisting with forecasting / budgeting, and providing monthly operating information.

This is a hybrid role in Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities

• Work closely and proactively with the practice accounting team to ensure proper accounting, revenue recognition, and reporting at each of the Company's practices
• Oversee and manage the month-end close process including coordination with FP&A, practice accounting, and clinical practice leaders
• Work closely with corporate FP&A to produce Monthly Operating Reports for senior management, the Board, and practice leadership
• Ensure financial records are maintained in accordance with US GAAP
• Preparing and reviewing ad-hoc internal and external financial reporting and analysis
• Coordinate external audits, working closely with the independent accounting firm
• Coordinate timely preparation and review of month-end balance sheet reconciliations, consolidation activities, and financial reporting
• Develop, document, implement and maintain the Company's accounting policies and procedures
• Research complex accounting issues and document technical accounting position papers
• Identify areas of process improvement, recommend changes, and execute improvements
• Additional responsibilities will be assigned to high performing individuals
