Job Description

You will perform diagnostic ultrasounds for the imaging of normal and abnormal structures of the human body and provide quality care to patients of all ages.

• Assess patients appropriately for the procedures ordered prior to, during, and after treatment according to Imaging Services / Departmental Guidelines.
• Operate highly specialized equipment, including radiographic, CR (Computed Radiography), DR (Digital Radiography), and PACS (Picture Archive Communication System).
• Take part in the training of students and staff as assigned.
• Create a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients and families.

Qualifications

Education : High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of approved School of Ultrasound or equivalent training.

Experience : Experience preferred but not required. OR and / or Pediatric experience would be helpful.

Licensure, certification, and / or registration : ARRT registry / ARDMS in one of the following areas, OB / Gyn, Abd or Neurosonography. CPR certification required.

Other : Good interpersonal, technical skills and flexibility in assignments.
