This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Clinical Project Manager in the United States.
The Senior Clinical Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and oversight of clinical trials from initiation to closeout, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing study budgets, developing project plans, and proactively identifying risks and mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and vendor management, with the ability to mentor junior staff and communicate effectively with stakeholders. This position is suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, driving the successful delivery of complex clinical programs while supporting strategic objectives.
Accountabilities
- Plan, manage, and oversee assigned clinical studies, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Serve as the primary communication point for project teams and stakeholders, providing regular updates and maintaining clear channels of communication.
- Develop risk assessments, contingency plans, and monitor execution of mitigation strategies across functional areas.
- Prepare and maintain study project plans, including site selection, monitoring plans, TMF management, and study-specific tools / templates.
- Lead or participate in investigator, client, and cross-functional team meetings; manage execution of investigator meetings and training materials.
- Monitor study budgets, track progress, and ensure timely execution of change orders to maintain project margins.
- Ensure compliance with FDA / ex-US regulations, ICH-GCP guidelines, and internal SOPs.
- Mentor and develop junior staff, providing guidance on processes, tools, and best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (Master, PharmD, PhD) preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of 7 years of clinical trial management experience.Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring clinical teams.Strong knowledge of FDA / regional regulations, ICH guidelines, and GCPs.Experience with clinical systems, including IVRS, EDC, and Microsoft Office applications.Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks, plan proactively, and problem-solve to achieve project goals.Experience in vendor selection, contracting, and oversight preferred.Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities, with attention to detail and process improvement skills.Benefits
