The *Transportation / Delivery Coordinator* is responsible for providing continuous support and information to customers, drivers, pharmacists and techs regarding the status of pharmacy orders.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to :

• Liaison to customers and Pharmacy staff, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all packages.
• Answers inquiries regarding deliveries. For non-delivery related questions, refer to appropriate department.
• Assists in maintaining correct documentation of customers Financial Assistance Applications.
• Contacts customers to advise on status of deliveries.
• Communicate with drivers on any delivery status change and / or pertinent information impacting deliveries.
• Ensure all packages are sent out to be delivered.
• Assists in maintaining all delivery record.
• Maintains a clean and safe work space and environment.
• Comply with company procedures, rules and regulations while performing duties.
• Communicates effectively with other staff in order to achieve positive customer outcomes.
• Assists customers, family members or other clients with concern and empathy; respect their confidentiality and privacy and communicate with them in a courteous and respectful manner.
• Maintain Confidentiality of customer medical records in accordance with state and federal laws.
• Ensures compliance with all HIPAA, OSHA, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
• Participates in meetings, training and in-service education as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements .

Requires a H.S. diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of customer service / relations.

Preferred Requirements.

Prior experience in pharmacy environment and understanding of pharmacy terminology strongly preferred.
