Location : Centennial, CO

POSITION SUMMARY :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team. This role is responsible for managing complex accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

CPA preferred

Mix of audit and industry experience preferred

5+ years of progressive accounting experience.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

Proficiency in accounting software - NetSuite preferred.

Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Strong team player.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities :

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Responsible for daily bank reconciliations.
• Analyze financial data and present insights to management.
• Assist with financial variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Support external audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and system implementations.
• Serve as a backup to other accounting functions within the Accounting department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Conditions :

Able to sit and work at computer keyboard for extended period.

Maintain regular and on-time attendance.

40 hours / week, but on occasion may require more.

Hybrid schedule (3 days / week in office) if desired, after training period depending on performance.

Pay Range : $80,000 - $126,000 per year
