SUMMARY : BuildingPoint is the dedicated dealer for Trimble & HP construction layout solutions. As the dealer of these products, BuildingPoint drives the relentless innovation in precise positioning, 3D modeling and data analytics within the building construction industry. The Sales Representative is responsible for the overall sales and business development within a defined geographical area. Through developing additional business within existing customers, as well as prospective efforts with non-customers, the Sales Representative will engage with contractors to promote our products and services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manage key relationships with existing customers and promote the benefits of additional products and services which we provide.
- Continually prospect within multiple building construction trades to showcase our technology & services, and the benefits of each. Our solutions are being widely adopted within the construction industry at a rapid pace, and heavy prospective efforts are key to long term, sustainable growth.
- Manage and maintain your CRM with both a robust opportunity pipeline and company / customer contact information, etc.
- As a consultative sales person, it will be imperative that you become an expert with our product. You’ll be expected to quickly learn and effectively demonstrate how our product can significantly improve customer layout workflows.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provide business analytics and insights to upper management to help steer tactics & strategy.Seek out and participate in industry trade associations that are relevant within this industry.The ability to comfortably engage with business executives, C-Suite management, and field-level personnel are paramount to success.Requirements :
POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
You’ll be part of a broader team within Allterra / BuildingPoint and will therefore be expected to manage internal relationships appropriately. In other words, you’ll be expected to build rapport with others within this organization.You’ll be expected to visit both customer offices and jobsites regularly within your territory. The ability to comfortably navigate construction sites is a requirement.PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS :
Knowledge of Trimble field and office software : GNSS, Robotics, and Scanning.Construction sales experience is preferred. Basic understanding of Survey and / or construction layout is preferred.
