At the Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE), we provide exceptional Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy that empowers children with autism and uplifts their families. With multiple clinics delivering both center-based and home-based services, we’re seeking a Director of Operations to lead our growing organization into its next phase of excellence.

This role calls for a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment, builds strong relationships, and embraces change as an opportunity for improvement. You’ll oversee operational strategy and execution across multiple clinics, working hand-in-hand with clinical and administrative leaders to ensure every child and family receives the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership across all clinics and administrative functions
  • Develop and implement initiatives that improve efficiency, staff engagement, and service quality
  • Establish and monitor policies, procedures, and KPIs aligned with organizational goals
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, and cost control to ensure financial sustainability
  • Partner with clinical leadership and HR to streamline onboarding, training, and staff development
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, adaptability, and continuous improvement
  • Drive marketing, community outreach, and business development initiatives to support growth
  • Oversee facility operations to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards are met
  • Serve as the liaison between clinical and administrative teams to maintain alignment
  • Anticipate and resolve operational challenges with composure and creativity
  • Manage scheduling and resource allocation to ensure optimal coverage and productivity
  • Participate in team engagement activities, recognition programs, and leadership development
  • Report to senior leadership on operational performance, key metrics, and strategic progress

  • Qualifications

  • 8+ years of management experience overseeing multi-site operations (healthcare or service-based preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven success leading teams and driving organizational growth
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to execute immediate and long-term objectives
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to engage empathetically with children, families, and staff
  • Results-oriented with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience in ABA therapy operations (strongly preferred)
  • Willingness to travel between clinical sites as needed

    Requirements

    8+ years of management experience overseeing large, multi-site operations (healthcare or service-based preferred) Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience Strong leadership and team management skills with proven success driving organizational growth High emotional intelligence with the ability to engage empathetically with children, families, and staff Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strategic thinking with the ability to implement processes that drive long-term growth while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations Results-driven mindset with strong problem-solving skills under pressure Experience in ABA therapy operations a plus, but not required
