Length of Assignment : 13-Week Contract (Full-Time / Part-Time / Per Diem Shifts Available)

Weekend Requirement : Every other Sat / Sunday; Holiday as needed

EDUCATION : .

HS Diploma : High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

Other : Completion of a course of study consistent with the requirements for Medical Assistants as specified by the Medical Board of California. (Must present diploma within 90 days)

OR Other : Equivalent Sutter Health Training program.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE :

BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

MUST HAVE NATIONAL CERT

DIPLOMA WILL NOT SUFFICE

DEPARTMENT REQUIRED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE :

American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)

American Medical Certification Association (CMAC)

CCMA-AC from California Certifying Board of Medical Assistants (CCBMA)

RMA-Registered Medical Assistant from American Medical Technologists (AMT)

Multiskilled Medical Certification Institutes through National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE :

1 year of recent relevant experience.
