Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Fort Myers, FL 33908 (Southwest Florida nursing jobs)

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1990-$2050

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Unit : Labor & Delivery (19 beds)

Shift : 12-hour nights, 3 shifts per week

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (11 / 28 / 2025 – 2 / 28 / 2026)

Call Requirement : 12 hours per 6-week scheduling period

EMR : Epic

Scrub Color : Galaxy Blue and / or White

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience

Previous travel nursing experience required

Active Registered Nurse license (Florida or compact state)

BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required

AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring class completed and passed (required)

AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring class and EFM certification (preferred)

Proven ability to manage high-acuity patients in a fast-paced clinical environment

Degree accreditation must be on profile, or 5 years of RN experience required

Willingness to float to other units or sister campuses as needed

All RTO or schedule requests must be submitted at the time of application

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a 19-bed L&D unit

Monitor, assess, and document patient status; administer medications; assist with deliveries

Utilize Epic EMR for accurate documentation and patient care coordination

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Float to other hospital units or sister campuses as required

Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled

Maintain professionalism and contribute to a positive, supportive unit culture
