We are seeking a skilled and dependable Line Cook to join our kitchen team at a high-volume Italian restaurant. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for Italian cuisine, and works well under pressure while maintaining top-quality standards.
Responsibilities :
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before each shift.
Ensure consistency in food presentation, portioning, and quality.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas.
Follow proper food handling and safety procedures.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff and assist where needed during service.
Monitor inventory and communicate needs to kitchen management.
Support the team during busy hours to ensure timely service.
Requirements :
Previous experience as a line cook, preferably in an Italian or high-volume restaurant.
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation standards.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and stay organized under pressure.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Culinary training is a plus but not required.
