Senior Financial Analyst

Specialized global manufacturer has a new permanent opportunity due to growth for a Senior Financial Analyst. The company has been in existence for decades, does business globally and is expanding domestically and internationally. The Senior Financial Analyst is a high profile, highly visible role that supports senior leadership with financial and strategic decisions. The Senior Financial Analyst will help evaluate acquisition and business expansion opportunities, evaluate new markets, budgeting / forecasting, provide analysis and insights to Senior Business Leaders.

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000 + bonus

Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst :

Responsible for business reports, dashboards and presenting recommendations to Senior Leadership

Lead budgeting and forecasting activities

Analyze a variety of data, KPIs, forecast updates and business models, including market, segment, customer, operational and financial numbers

Cost, margin, profitability and trend analysis

Analysis related to PVM - pricing, volume and product mix, identifying drivers

Trend analysis for sales / margin results and identify potential risk related to customers, product line, and / or location geography

Revenue analysis on products / locations entry to market strategy and market trends

Lead financial modeling for sales budgets and forecasts to achieve strategic growth goals

Ad-hoc analyses for business support on industry trends, industry comparisons, and strategic growth initiatives

Analyze / research, present to Leadership and make recommendations on areas of opportunity, risk, expansion and potential acquisitions

Ideal Qualifications for the Senior Financial Analyst position :

Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or Accounting

Manufacturing, industrial, product related industry experience

Budgeting & Forecasting experience

Advanced financial analysis, financial modeling, KPI analysis skills

Strong strategic, growth, business ownership mindset

Experience partnering with operations leaders

PowerBi or similar
