Position Overview

Reporting to the CFO, this role will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations as well as the financial close and internal controls processes. The Controller will oversee Company’s financial results, managing the close process, and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of financial information for all our stakeholders. As the Controller, you will take charge of our Accounting function, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of our financial reporting timelines. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the monthly close processes, and for the change management and policies that safeguard our general ledger and financial reporting structures. Your expertise and leadership will play a pivotal role in evolving Tatcha’s capabilities in this space while ensuring that our processes and policies support the scale and complexity of a rapidly expanding company. This will be a hands-on role that requires oversight of the day-to-day processing as well as working cross functionally with other departments to verify the accuracy and validity of the General Ledger and related processes.

• Continue to lead and develop our high-performing accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Collaborate with the CFO, and VP of Strategic Finance, and other executive team members to align financial operations with the company’s strategic goals.
• Drive continuous improvement and optimize financial processes, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Serve as a key finance business partner to operational and functional leaders across the organization.

The Details

The expected base salary range for this position is $225,000 to $250,000. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.

This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan, based on personal performance and company results.
