Assistant Maintenance Manager
Location : Georgetown, KY (On-site)
Job Type : Full-time | Day Shift | Monday–Friday (Weekends as needed)

Role Overview
The Assistant Maintenance Manager ensures smooth production by overseeing equipment, facilities, and maintenance operations. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, maintaining machine safety, and meeting production goals by effectively managing maintenance staff, vendors, and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily maintenance operations for all plant equipment, facilities, and buildings.Manage and direct technical / non-technical staff and contractors.Lead Preventative Maintenance Program (PM) for shop equipment and machines.Plan, schedule, and prioritize maintenance tasks with production management.Develop and manage budgets, costs, vendors, and maintenance contracts.Conduct regular inspections (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) for facilities and equipment.Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and hazardous waste regulations.Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance, inspections, training, and repairs.Manage spare parts and tool inventory to reduce downtime.Train and ensure safety compliance for maintenance staff.Provide leadership and continuous improvement initiatives within maintenance operations.Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of leadership experience in maintenance or related field.Strong knowledge of building systems : electrical, HVAC, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and fabrication.Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and control diagrams .Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office .Ability to work on-call , including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.AA degree preferred but not required.
