What you'll do as a Sales Operations Specialist :

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Operations Specialist to support our sales team in driving sales effectiveness and optimizing key sales operations processes. In this role, you will maintain the quality of our customer and contract database and collaborate across multiple departments, including the sales team, contract estimators, clients, field operations, accounting, and others. You will work towards improving the customer experience and driving business growth through streamlined operations. Working in this role you will open doors into all areas of our organization, developing insight and opportunities for future career growth.

Familiarity with productivity tools like Salesforce, Smartsheet, PowerBI, Sharepoint, and MS Teams will be beneficial. This position requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, accuracy, and exceptional customer service skills. Experience in sales onboarding and ongoing training will also be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Sales Operations Optimization : Develop, execute, and continually refine sales operations processes (e.g., contract review, order processing, proposal generation, and documentation management).
  • Collaboration : Work closely with the sales team to understand their operational needs and provide solutions to enhance their sales effectiveness.
  • Sales Strategy Development : Identify and implement strategies to increase sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Data Analysis : Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for performance optimization.
  • Salesforce Configuration : Configure and customize Salesforce to suit organizational needs and improve sales workflow.
  • Training and Education : Provide training and guidance to the sales team on Salesforce best practices, proper data entry, and usage.
  • Sales Documentation Management : Create and manage critical sales documentation, including sales plans, SOPs, and sales aids.
  • Onboarding and Training : Assist in onboarding, training, and providing ongoing support to sales personnel regarding processes and tools.
  • Tool Evaluation : Evaluate and recommend sales tools that can enhance engagement and productivity.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales Operations, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales operations or sales administration.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well both independently and within teams.
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning; additional experience with other sales automation and analytic tools is a plus.
  • Experience designing and delivering corporate training is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities, with the capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
