Division Support Coordinator
We are looking for a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills, an upbeat attitude, and a professional demeanor to join our team as the Division Support Coordinator. The Division Support Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of office functions within the Oklahoma State Department of Education. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support while fostering collaboration with procurement officers, approvers, and suppliers to streamline workflow processes.
Please note : This role requires full in-person attendance, with no options for remote work, telecommuting, or hybrid arrangements. The nature of this position necessitates a consistent in-person presence, and candidates should be prepared to fulfill all responsibilities on-site at the designated workplace in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field [official transcripts required upon hire];
- Two (2) years of clerical or office experience.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation, ensuring timely submission and storage in compliance with department policies.Procurement and Financial Coordination : Collaborate with procurement officers, approvers, and suppliers to streamline procurement processes and manage purchase orders. Assist in preparing and processing purchase requisitions, invoices, and other procurement documents.Resource Management : Assist in the management of division resources, including office supplies, equipment, and facilities. Work Environment includes :
Office Setting : Climate-controlled office setting with exposure to moderate noise; the employee is frequently required to talk, walk, and stand; this position requires long periods of sitting and daily use of computer and phone. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
Physical Demands include :
Ability to stand, reach and bend 50% of the time;
Operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine / printer, office telephone 75% of the time;
Ascends / descends stairs 25% of the time;
Ability to lift to 25 lbs.
