Senior Quality Engineer

Job Description :

The qualified candidate will be responsible for driving and analyzing customer returns to determine the root cause of their failure. Document and maintain analysis information and results and provide comprehensive reports to customers. Extensive collaboration with the internal team (Design, Applications, Product / Test, process engineering, and Operations) as well as the Failure analysis lab is essential.

Responsibilities :

• Perform failure investigation and corrective action for customer related failures, document and maintain analysis data and facilitate customer quality & reliability interactions through complete analysis FA (8D) reports.
• Plan and process customer returns, schedule & conduct the analysis from start to finish.
• Work with the circuit design, process, product / test engineers throughout the BU in performing DC electrical testing, circuit analysis / trouble shooting, fault isolation, and micro-probing, etc. (as required)
• Benchmark failure analysis methods, systems, and operations at other semiconductor manufacturers. Act as a facilitator of continuous improvement, working on proactive and preventative changes.
• Implement appropriate preventive measures such as control plans and Quality monitoring are in place to ensure there are no significant quality spills with customers.
• Monitor and participate in New Product Development projects including performing quality evaluations.
• Identify and initiate actions that will result in continuous improvement of the Quality System, products, and processes.

Salary Range : $70,000 - $110,000

Actual offer to candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates' experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
