Job descriptionCreate visual content- develop and design graphics for video, digital and print media, including advertisements, social media, websites, photo retouching and marketing materials. Creativity from initial idea generations to final production will be required. The scope of the role is to work across multimedia designs, lending your skills from print, digital and animation. Collaborate with team- work with marketing team to understand project requirements and translate concepts into compelling visual designs. Ensure brand consistency- maintain a consistent visual style across all platforms and ensure designs align with the brand's identity and goals. Ensure brand consistency among contractors- maintain consistent brand voice and look from various contractors and / or outside agencies to ensure all assets align with brand guidelines. Continually work with marketing to refine and update brand guide. Produce high-quality deliverables-generate high-resolution graphics, illustrations, and layouts that meet both creative and technical standards. Stay updated on trends-follow design trends and best practices to ensure that all graphics are creative and on-brand. Ensure all designed digital-based communications follow the multichannel seasonal concepts and are consistent with the brand guidelines. Execute postproduction on video or photography for digital media. Other duties as needed by department head / manager. Proven experience as a graphic designer or in a similar role. Strong understanding of visual design principles, typography, color theory, and layout. Excellent proficiency with design software, including Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Ability to translate ideas and concepts into visually appealing designs. 3+ years of experience in graphic design or a related field. Proficiency in designing for both digital and print media. A degree in graphic design, fine arts, or a related field is preferred. Experience with motion graphics or video editing tools like Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro. Familiarity with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles. Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple design projects simultaneously. Dental and Vision- Two dental plans, and a vision plan available. Paid Time Off- 40 hours after 3 months, then 80 hours at 1 year anniversary. Holiday Pay- New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Discounts- Associate discounts on store purchases available. Wellness and other discounts- Employees that participate in annual wellness event and are enrolled in company medical coverage are eligible for Wellness discount. Fitness discounts are also available for both medical enrollees and those not enrolled. Retirement / 401(k) Plan- Eligible to participate in the company 401(k) if eligibility is met, following one year anniversary. Company match is 40% of the first 5% that the employee contributes to the plan.
