Job Summary
Family-owned distribution company seeking an experienced Buyer to manage purchasing and supplier relationships. Must have 3+ years of buying / procurement experience and be proficient in Excel, Microsoft 365, and Teams. Join a supportive team where your impact is valued and growth opportunities await.
Responsibilities
- Place and manage purchase orders with accuracy
- Track inventory, manage reorder points, and support demand planning
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to optimize costs
- Resolve supplier issues (shipping, billing, quality) quickly and effectively
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to meet customer needs
- Maintain supplier agreements, pricing records, and compliance documentation
