Family-owned distribution company seeking an experienced Buyer to manage purchasing and supplier relationships. Responsibilities
- Place and manage purchase orders with accuracy
- Track inventory, manage reorder points, and support demand planning
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to optimize costs
- Resolve supplier issues (shipping, billing, quality) quickly and effectively
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to meet customer needs
- Maintain supplier agreements, pricing records, and compliance documentation
Requirements
3+ years of buying or procurement experience (distribution preferred)Proficiency in Excel (advanced), Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Teams (must-have)Experience with ERP or inventory management systemsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trendsExcellent negotiation, vendor management, and communication skillsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environmentWhy Join Us
