We are looking for a friendly, reliable Bakery Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate provides warm, efficient service to guests while accurately handling transactions and assisting with bakery sales. This role is key to creating a welcoming first and last impression for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service
Operate the POS system accurately and efficiently
Handle cash, credit, and digital payments responsibly
Assist guests with bakery selections and answer questions about products
Package baked goods neatly and according to standards
Maintain a clean, organized front counter and display cases
Restock bakery items and supplies as needed
Communicate product availability and guest feedback to the team
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications
Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
Friendly, upbeat attitude with strong communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills and attention to detail
Dependable and punctual
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light items
Schedule & Availability
Flexible availability including mornings, weekends, and holidays preferred
