Position Details
- Salary : 29.97 - 43.46 Hourly
- Shift : Days, 8-hour shifts
- Status : PRN
This position is responsible for identifying and coordinatingkey training opportunities within the Learning Management System.
This positionmanages the online learning management system, which includes but is notlimited to updating module content, assignments, curriculum, and student groups.
Duties include ensuring hospital staff education is deployed timely,documentation of completion is accurate, and competency record aremanaged / maintained.
This position will be responsible for coordinating andadministering training programs, educational reporting, student contractingreview and tracking, as well as data support as needed.
This position will beresponsible for managing student clinical rotations within the hospital byscreening, processing and scheduling school rotations in collaboration with theclinical units.
The position will partner with colleges to identify desiredskill sets for clinical rotations, provide administrative support, and act as akey resource for students within the hospital.
This position will partner withother hospital departments to efficiently process clinical students and preparethem for clinical rotations within the hospital .
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE :
- Computer skills including, but not limited to, word processing (MS Word), spreadsheet (MS Excel), data entry and management as necessary for the web-based bariatric registry, and familiarity with working within network systems.
- Communications : phone with voice mail, fax, pagers, copiers, etc.
- Customer oriented
- Excellent organization and analytical skills.
- Desire to maintain quality profession expertise and industry knowledge
- Ability to work independently in a time oriented environment .
- Administrative experience with demonstrated increased responsibility to manage and coordinate work.
- Learning Management System (e.g. Healthstream) experience a plus.
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES :
- AA degree in related field, or 5 years directexperience in lieu of degree.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
COMMUNICATIONSKILLS : Able to communicate withindividuals from various backgrounds and languages. Ability to communicate clearly bothverbally and in writing.
MATHEMATICALSKILLS : Basic to Intermediate Skills : Ability to add, subtract,multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, commonfractions, and decimals.
REASONINGABILITY : Intermediate to High Skills : Ability to apply common senseunderstanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagramform.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concretevariables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpreta variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheduleform.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
- Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with TheJoint Commission and Title 22 standards and guidelines.
- Always demonstrates compliance with hospital policiesand procedures.
- Must have knowledge of PC and applications.
