Hr Director
We are looking for an experienced HR Director to join our client's team on a contract basis in Salem, Oregon. This role requires a forward-thinking individual who can assess and modernize HR operations, strengthen team dynamics, and ensure organizational compliance. As part of a mission-driven nonprofit, you will play a key role in aligning HR strategies with the organization's goals.
Responsibilities :
- Evaluate the current HR department structure and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct risk assessments to address potential challenges and opportunities within the workforce.
- Oversee employee relations to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage benefit programs and ensure they align with employee needs and organizational objectives.
- Develop and implement HR policies to maintain compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Lead recruitment and hiring efforts to attract and retain top talent.
- Provide strategic guidance to the leadership team on HR-related matters.
- Assess team performance and implement strategies for skill development and growth.
- Monitor compensation practices to ensure equity and competitiveness.
- Collaborate with management to align HR initiatives with the nonprofit's mission and business goals.
Requirements :
Proven experience in HR management or leadership roles.Expertise in employee relations and fostering strong workplace culture.Comprehensive knowledge of benefits administration and compensation strategies.Familiarity with HR compliance and legal regulations.Strong ability to assess team dynamics and implement effective solutions.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Confidence and initiative to drive HR improvements independently.Previous experience in nonprofit organizations is a plus.
