Senior Property Manager
We are seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee the operations and financial management of a diverse industrial and commercial real estate portfolio in Delray Beach, Florida. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong accounting expertise to maintain seamless coordination between property management and financial processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to delivering efficient property operations and accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities :
- Manage daily operations across a portfolio of industrial and commercial properties, including tenant communications, service requests, and lease management.
- Ensure the accuracy of lease setups, renewals, and amendments within property management systems.
- Oversee vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and supervise project execution to ensure timely completion.
- Monitor project budgets, validate cost allocations, and review documentation for funding and construction draws.
- Develop and implement operational best practices to enhance portfolio efficiency.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct monthly accruals and analyze property-level financial performance.
- Lead annual budgeting and reconciliation processes, including operating expense reviews.
- Perform detailed variance analyses to identify trends and financial risks.
- Collaborate with accounting teams to maintain data integrity across management and financial systems.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.At least 6 years of experience in property management or real estate accounting, with a focus on commercial or industrial portfolios.Proficiency in property management software, such as Yardi, is highly preferred.Advanced knowledge of accrual accounting, month-end close processes, and general ledger management.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in financial reporting and variance analysis.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting systems.Excellent communication and organizational abilities to effectively manage multiple priorities.Proven ability to negotiate contracts and oversee vendor relationships.
