Pay rate : $30.00 hourly

Responsibilities

Provide 1 : 1 respite care for families of a child or adult with developmental disabilities.

Gastronomy Tube (g-tube) care and feeding.

Take vital signs and administer medication.

Trach Care (very rarely, do not need to have experience in this).

Check blood sugar and administer insulin injection.

Seizure management may need to give medication if ordered and ensure safety.

Document on nursing notes every visit.

Be a support to clients and their family members.

Monitor and report changes in client care and / or behavior.

Qualifications

Active CA. LVN license.

CPR certification.

Physical within the last 6 months and recent TB test.

Current TB test, current physical, valid CPR card and First Aide (within 30 days of hire).

New grads welcome can shadow an experienced nurse to gain confidence prior to taking a case on their own (paid).

Clear criminal background.
